Connect direct findings to a longitudinal modeled response.
The Disease Simulator implements 36 diseases across 11 systems. It can combine single or multiple conditions, apply severity and mechanism-based interventions, and show MAP with relative multi-system states over time. Evidence references connect each modeled change to its defined source.
It supports structured exploration of implemented models; it does not diagnose disease or predict an individual outcome.
Run a traceable condition and intervention timeline.
- Open the Disease Simulator and review the direct findings and baseline across systems.
- Select a single condition, or multiple conditions when the question requires their implemented interaction.
- Set severity and choose a mechanism-based intervention available for the selected condition.
- Use run, play and reset controls deliberately while following the longitudinal timeline.
- Compare MAP and the relative state of each represented system at the same time point.
- Open the evidence references to connect each response to its input and defined rule.
- Reset to baseline before comparing another condition, severity or intervention.
Record the condition, severity, intervention, time point and affected system together; otherwise a later change can lose its source.
Separate displayed findings from modeled explanation.
Compare the direct findings with the longitudinal multi-system response, then use the evidence trace to inspect why the implemented model changed. Describe the difference before proposing a broader mechanism.
- Which direct findings established the baseline?
- Which scenario or intervention was applied?
- Which system changed first, and at what displayed time point?
- Which evidence-trace entry connects the output to its defined input or rule?
A simulation demonstrates its rules—not all of biology.
Output reflects the model’s defined inputs, assumptions and simplifications. A plausible response in the simulator is not evidence that the same response will occur in a person.
Never use simulated output for clinical prediction.
Do not enter patient information, estimate prognosis, select treatment, calculate personal risk or interpret the output as clinical evidence. Use validated sources and qualified professionals for medical decisions.
